A man who was arrested for allegedly asking to suck the toes of women he confronted at area businesses has been released on bond.
According to officials at the Faulkner County Detention Center, Michael Robert Wyatt, 50, of Vilonia posted a $1,260 bond on Tuesday and was released from their custody.
Wyatt was arrested by members of the Conway Police Department on Monday, after two women picked him out of a photo line up as the man who had approached them and asked to suck their toes.
Wyatt, nick-named the “Toe Suck Fairy” in the 1990’s, has been arrested for his foot fondness previously and pleaded guilty to second-degree assault and criminal impersonation in Conway in December 1990.
Not only have his actions caused a stir in the community, news of his alleged crimes have spread to late night television hosts. Jay Leno made reference to Wyatt in his monologue on Tuesday night.
In reference to the 1990 incident, Wyatt was arrested after pretending to be a podiatrist so he could fondle and suck a Conway woman’s toes at a woman’s clothing store. He received one year of probation, a $347 fine and one year of court-ordered therapy. His probation was later revoked when he was arrested in Cabot on similar charges.
Wyatt was convicted in Faulkner County in 1991 of terroristic threatening and was sentenced to four years in state prison. The sentence was reduced to three years and Wyatt served just more than one year in prison.
In 1999, a complainant in Fayetteville claimed Wyatt told her he would cut off her feet and suck her toes while she bled to death, though Wyatt denied making the statement.
He was arrested at that time and charged with terroristic threatening.
One of the women he approached in the recent incidents noted in her description of Wyatt that he had missing toes on each foot.
