Battery – third degree, McDonald’s, 220 E. Oak St.
Officers were dispatched to the restaurant when a woman called to report that a manager at the business punched her in the chest and called her names when she asked to have her order corrected. The woman told the officers that she placed an order and when she discovered that it was wrong, she went back inside the business to speak with the person she placed the order with to have it corrected. When she did, the woman stated that the manager “gave her attitude and caller her a crack head”. The woman stated that the manager handed her back her money and squeezed her hand, which caused the woman to push the manager away from her. When the officers spoke with the manager, she stated that the woman had been upset that her order had been wrong and proceeded to yell and use profanities. The manager stated that the woman asked for her money back and punched her in the chest. Both parties were advised of the warrant process. No further action was taken.
