The Guy-Perkins F.F.A. chapter No. 22 met Oct. 12 and elected new officers as follows: President, Vernon rowlett; vice president, Jarrell D. Gray; secretary, Jarrell Bivens; treasurer, Grady Trimble; reporter, Milton Poole; watch dog, Dib Boyd; advisor, L. G. Trimble. For the past few days, the new officers have been busy learning their duties. Monday night, they initiated four new members, Bently Bivens, Joe Earl Herring, W.K. Henry and Waymon Griffith.

Harold E. Alexander of Conway, biologist for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, will attend technical sessions of the meeting of the Southeastern Association of Game and Fish Commissioners in Atlanta, Ga., Oct. 22-25.

Mr. Alexander will present a paper on "The Obligations of the Biologist." He will also attend a meeting of the Southeastern Water Use Committee in his capacity as chairman. Principal subject of discussion of this group will be water legislation as it affects Wildlife and recreation resources and stream problems in the southern states.

Weekend guests at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Dale Langford of Conway were Beth Brown and daughters Ryann, Ashlee, Britteny and Taylor of Mountain View, Sharon Butler and son Roby of Spring, Texas, and Joan Swaffar and sons Charlie Jo, Nathan and Dustin of Conway. The occasion for the visit was the birthdays of both Mrs. Langford and Mrs. Butler.

Conway police officer Michael Bradford was awarded a trophy for his second-place finish in the annual Arkansas Top Gun competition. The event is a shooting competition between law enforcement officers in the state held at the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy in Camden.
