Battery - third degree, 2600 block of Donaghey Ave.

A woman made contact with an officer at the police station to report that she had been assaulted by her co-worker. The woman brought a witness from her place of employment who stated that another employee had attacked the woman from behind because the suspect had never liked the victim since the time the victim began working at the business. The victim told the officers that she had argued with the suspect that day and the suspect had used obscenities with her so they both were called into their supervisor’s office to discuss the argument. The suspect was told at that time that she would be sent home for the day, which is when she became upset and attacked the victim when they left the supervisor’s office. The witness told the officers that the suspect had to be pulled off of the victim. The victim sustained injuries to her face, arms and right ear. The victim advised that the suspect would probably return to the workplace and she requested that an officer be present when she does. The victim was made aware of the warrant process.
