GREENBRIER Ark. – Damon Edwards of Greenbrier announced today he  will seek the Republican nomination in the Faulkner County Justice of the  Peace District 12 race.

"I’m proud to be running for an opportunity to serve the citizens of  Faulkner County," said Edwards. "As a member of the Quorum Court, I will use  my life and business experience along with common sense and team work to  address issues that come before the Court."

Edwards has worked for Windstream Communications for the past 27 years and  currently serves as Manager of the Windstream CPE Technical Assistance Center  in Little Rock. He graduated from Greenbrier High School in 1977 and has been  married to his high school sweetheart Rhonda for 34 years.

He is member of the PCC (Partner Community Council), a non-profit forum of  Avaya authorized partners and Avaya employees, where he serves on the  leadership team as Deputy Chairman of the Documentation and Training Task  Force. He has also served as a reserve deputy under former Sheriff Bob  Blankenship and has volunteered as a hunter safety instructor.

"I want to provide Faulkner County residents with a conservative voice as  we look for ways to grow our local economy, promote fiscal responsibility and  enhance transparency in county government," Edwards said.
