Miss Ruth Dickens entertained with a party Thursday evening at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Dickens of West Conway.
After a series of interesting games, cake and cocoa were served.

Thirteen Conway High School students have been selected as "outstanding" among the school’s 475 enrollment. The group includes 12 seniors and one junior. The selection was made by a faculty group. The students include Jon Robbins, Harry (Buddie) Wyre, Bill Lyford, Kay Turner, Cheryl Nixon, Idalene Blackburn, Marsha Black, Eileen McGee, Kay Nichols, Melinda Young, Pat Cantrell, Kay Satterfield and Gary Nutter. Miss McGee and Lyford were the only repeaters from 1961.

Allison Malpica, 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Malpica, was given a big hug by her grandmother, Mrs. Fred Malpica of Conway, after being crowned last night as Conway High School Yearbook Queen. Miss Malpica was among 16 girls who competed for the title in the annual beauty revue. Finalists were Nancy Collins, first runner-up, a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Richard Collins; Melissa Williams, second runner-up, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Williams; and Lisa Reed, third runner-up, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Reed, all of Conway.

Allyson L. Hardin, a daughter of Doug and Sharon Hardin of Conway, earned a doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin in December.
Hardin is a 1991 graduate of Little Rock Central, and a bachelor of arts and master of arts graduate of the University of Notre Dame. She is an instructor of Spanish at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
Hardin is also a granddaughter of Jerry Roberson of Cleveland and the late Marie Boyle Roberson and Pauline Roberson of Conway and the late Delmas Hardin.
