As part of their senior seminar course, senior theatre arts and dance students collaborated to create a company and produce the play. Under faculty supervision, the students directed and designed the production.

Senior theatre arts majors involved in the production include: Torey Hayward of Alexandria, La.; Nick Rodriguez of Fayetteville;

Charles Wallace of Coppell, Texas; Michael Chavez of Edinburg, Texas; Jacob Halpern-Weitzman of New York, N.Y.; and Beatrice Vena of Little Rock.

In describing the play, Ben Brantley of The New York Times said, "Set in Wyomissing, Pa., in the womblike ‘cub room’ of the club of the title, the comedy follows a year in the lives of six insular friends (and one outsider) through a series of holiday-themed parties where drinks are bolted and truths are spewed… .

Beane has the ear of both the natural dramatist and the inspired satirist, often bringing a transforming poetic sparkle to the conventions of WASP-speak."
