A recent sex offender sweep conducted by Conway police resulted in one arrest.

Devin Kyle Johnson, 25, of the 10 block of Sedgefield Drive in Conway, violated reporting requirements by failing to notify police of his change of address, authorities said.

Johnson’s address is listed in the 10 block of Sedgefield Drive in Conway. Authorities learned, however, that Johnson has been living with a friend in Sherwood for more than a month.

Johnson’s step-father confirmed that Johnson was not living at his listed address, according to La Tresha Woodruff, Conway police public information officer.

Johnson voluntarily reported to the Conway Police Department a short time later, and told detectives in an interview that he moved because he has been "having problems" with his parents.

Woodruff said Johnson has posted bond and is reporting to the department as required.

The charge Johnson was arrested on is a class C felony.

He was convicted in 2009 on three counts of fourth-degree sexual assault, a class D felony, and was sentenced to five years of probation.
