A proposal for a Walmart Neighborhood Market, which has been gestating for months, was going to be brought up in Monday's meeting of the Conway Planning Commission, but it was postponed until a special meeting in June.

The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. Monday, June 4 in the Community Room of the Conway Police Department. This will follow a pre-meeting of the commission, which will take place at 6 p.m. in the conference room of City Hall.

The group of people who arrived to speak about the proposal of the grocery store on Prince Street left immediately when told that no proposal would be made during the current meeting.

The commission's only act was to approve the annexation of 17 acres by Trinity Development for Chapel Creek Subdivision Phase 2.
