Arkansas editions of the WoodSongs Old-Time Radio Hour will be broadcast on KUAR FM 89 on May 31 and June 7.

WoodSongs: Celebration of Arkansas Roots Music — Part 1 will air on KUAR on Thursday, May 31 at 8 p.m. featuring The Cleverlys, Bonnie Montgomery, Tim Crouch & Gary Rounds, and Clarke Buehling.

WoodSongs: Celebration of Arkansas Roots Music — Part 2 will air Thursday, June 7 at 8 p.m. featuring Blue Rain Bluegrass Band, Still on the Hill, Nathan A., Scott Odena & the Peterson’s Original Ragtime Band, and River Lee.

The two shows, focusing exclusively on Arkansas artists, were recorded March 31 at Reynolds Performance Hall in Conway.

KUAR FM 89 was the media sponsor of the WoodSongs Old-time Radio Hour taping, which was presented by UCA Public Appearances.

WoodSongs is an internationally syndicated radio program broadcast at 8 p.m. each Thursday on KUAR in addidition to nearly 500 radio affiliates, public television, satellite radio, and online.
