The makings of a lab to manufacture methamphetamines were seized by the 20th Judicial District Drug Task Force Thursday at 1506 B Prince Street in Conway.
Faulkner County Sheriff Karl Byrd said a warrant was served at the address "following an investigation that established probable cause for the search."
The task force seized a number of chemicals at the residence in a search conducted at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
No one was inside the residence when officials with the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office arrived.
A cooking component was also seized along with the chemical ingredients.
Officers working the scene had not yet determined if the address is within 1000 feet of nearby Conway First Methodist Church’s preschool, which is about a block away.
The address is also near Conway High School-East.
Captain Matt Rice of the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office said no one had been arrested as of press time Thursday.
