Conway City Council will meet at 6:30 tonight to discuss plans for redevelopment of Curtis Walker Park.

The multi-purpose recreational facility on Museum Road is used today for Optimist football, semipro baseball, American Legion baseball, city baseball and St. Joseph High School baseball.

Phase One will include construction of a concession stand and restroom facility at an estimated cost of $110,170 with funding to come from the Advertising and Promotion prepared food and motel tax.

In other business, the Council will consider a resolution establishing an Airport Advisory Committee for the relocated Conway Airport in Lollie Bottoms.

As proposed, the committee would have seven members with at least four members licensed pilots.

The committee will provide advice and guidance to the Mayor, airport operator and City Council on airport management, operations, facilities, equipment, planning and other areas as needed for the efficient operations of the airport.
