A Conway woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident on Hwy. 60 in Perry County after losing control of her vehicle at turn.
According to a preliminary fatal crash summary by the Arkansas State Police, conditions were clear and dry just before 11 p.m. Oct. 17 when Kari Cato Allen, 40, lost control of her 2008 Saturn while negotiating a turn and left the roadway, striking a chain link fence and a tree before coming to a rest.
The crash report indicates Allen was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
She was transported to University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at 9:16 a.m. Wednesday by Dr. Bob Lehmberg.
