Officials with the Conway Police Department say three of 10 Conway businesses targeted in alcohol compliance checks failed Wednesday night.
A 19-year-old informant with an unaltered identification entered the restaurants and attempted to order alcohol.
Servers at Pasta Grill, ZAZA Fine Salad + Wood Oven Pizza Co., El Parian Mexican Restaurant, Brick Oven Pizza Co., Patron Mexican Grill, Casa Mariachi and The Draft passed the compliance check.
A server at Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe was issued a warning citation after reportedly asking for identification before serving the underage informant alcohol.
At Outback Steakhouse, an employee asked the teen for identification before serving alcohol, and a server at Stromboli's failed to ask for identification before providing alcohol to the informant.
Both servers were issued a $250 citation.
The compliance check was the third conducted by the department within the last three weeks.
The department funds the compliance checks, and officials said the random checks are expected to continue to reduce the effects of underage drinking.
