Kallee King, a junior at Greenbrier High School, was recently elected as secretary of the Arkansas Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA).

King is the daughter of Leah Roberts and Eric King and has served as District 2 FCCLA parliamentarian, Greenbrier High School FCCLA vice president of membership and Greenbrier Junior High FCCLA president. King will be installed in a ceremony during the upcoming FCCLA State Leadership Conference in March at the Reynolds Performance Hall and Brewer-Hegeman Center at the University of Central Arkansas.

FCCLA is dedicated to equipping young men and women to become leaders while making a difference in the lives of families, careers and communities nationwide by addressing important personal, work and societal issues through family and consumer sciences education.

King’s adviser is Susan Baker, Greenbrier High School Family and Consumer Science teacher.
