Local students earn top spots on Harding dean’s list
Six students from the Conway area recently earned a spot on the dean’s list at Harding University this past fall semester, according to a news release.
Students Cassidy DeSalvo, a sophomore; Austin Westjohn, a freshman; Catherine Summers, a junior, all from Conway; Mike Permenter, a freshman from Greenbrier; Logan Evans, a freshman from Guy; and Aulora Fay, a senior from Vilonia all made the list.
The dean’s list is published each semester by Larry Long, university provost, to honor those who have achieved high scholarship. To be eligible, a student must be carrying 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average on a 4.0 scale and have no incomplete grades.
