A 2013 Spring Job Fair is planned 9-2 p.m. March 6 at the University of Central Arkansas, according to a news release.
The Office of Career Services expects 78 businesses, schools and corporations to participate.
"Some of these companies will be signing up interview sessions with students for the very next day," said Tiffany Johnson, Associate Director of Career Services, in the release. "They could meet someone in that room who could just change their lives forever with an internship or a job."
Students should have plenty of resumes to distribute to potential employers. Johnson said students still have time to visit the Office of Career Services to receive assistance with writing their resumes.
All classifications of students are encouraged to attend.
"We do see that employers are looking for interns on the freshman and sophomore level and it used to be just the junior level," Johnson said.
Students should dress appropriately for the event. Freshmen, sophomores and juniors are encouraged to wear business casual clothes meaning slacks and shirts for male students, and blouses and skirts or slacks for female students. Seniors are encouraged to wear a full business suit.
Students are also encouraged to arrive as early as possible.
