Conway police were dispatched to New Life Church on Country Club Road Sunday after a staff member discovered that gas lines had been cut on three church vans.

A gas cap on one of the vans had been removed, with the fill hose going into the gas tank cut. The two other vans had the same fill hose cut, but the locking gas caps had not been removed.

According to a report, each gas cap had a small dent where the key is inserted, as if the suspect attempted to pick the lock.

The reporting party also reported that gas had been siphoned from one of the vans by an unknown person within the last two weeks.

Damages were estimated at $600. Police have no suspects in the case and an investigation into the criminal mischief is ongoing.
