Book sale:

This from Nancy Allen at the Faulkner County Library.

The Friends of the Faulkner County Libraries will hold their spring book sale on March 8 from 6-8:30 p.m.

You must join Friends to attend Friday evening’s sale, but you may join the night of the sale or before the sale at any county library.

The sale continues for the public on March 9 during the library’s regular hours from 9 a.m to 5 p.m. The sale will continue the following week.

The spring sale will differ from those in the past. Friends will not be required to attend the annual meeting before shopping. The annual meeting will be a separate event, and Friends will be notified the time and place for that meeting.

Yard signs to publicize the sale are available at the Conway Library.

The Friends of Faulkner County Library System request book donations and Kroger bags for the paperback book sale. Books may be delivered to the main library at 1900 Tyler Street in Conway or to branch libraries in Greenbrier, Mayflower, Mt. Vernon, Twin Groves, and Vilonia.

Book donations are tax deductible, and all proceeds from the sale fund projects at all libraries in the county.

For large book donations, call the library at 327-7482 for pick-up.
