Yasser Alzahrani, 32, was arrested by Conway police this week on two felony counts of third degree domestic battery and terroristic threatening.

Alzahrani’s felony information shows he is implicated as causing or attempting to cause physical injury to a pregnant woman.

According to a Conway Police Department incident report, the victim, who said she is seven months pregnant, told police Alzahrani struck her multiple times in the face and neck area.

The victim told police she rolled onto her hands and knees to protect her stomach and prevent injury to her child, and Alzahrani continued to strike her face and back.

The woman told police Alzahrani stopped hitting her when she told him another person was about to arrive at the residence where the incident took place. The victim said Alzahrani then told her he was going to kill her and her unborn child.

According to the report, the woman fled when Alzahrani turned his back and she was picked up by a friend. Alzahrani is set to appear for plea and arraignment March 24.
