Kimberly-Clark Corporation partnered with United Way of Central Arkansas to improve lives throughout Faulkner and Perry counties. Representatives of Kimberly-Clark Corporation recently donated a corporate gift to the 2014 campaign of United Way of Central Arkansas.

Shortly after 2013 began, workers at the Conway Facility began getting ready for their 2014 United Way campaign. This may seem like a strange strategy, but it allows for the employees to generate as much money as possible for their yearly donation. For the 2014 year, Conway employees pledged a total of $41,555 for the United Way of Central Arkansas. Representatives from Kimberly-Clark Corporation matched that donation and wrote a $41,555 check that was presented to the United Way of Faulkner and Perry Counties, Executive Director Maret Cahill.

In addition to on-line pledges and the company-matched donation, the Conway facility generated $5,977 additional dollars throughout the year. This amount was achieved using fundraisers and other donations and brought Conway’s total yearly donation to $89,087 for the United Way.
