Central Baptist College recognized Jordan Bowen of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Jessica Myrick of Conway for receiving the Greatest Contribution Awards at this year’s commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 10, 2014.

The Greatest Contribution Award, by vote of the administration, faculty, and staff is given to a graduate who is deemed to have enriched the lives of students and employees spiritually, academically, socially, and personally and has demonstrated his or her love for CBC by giving unselfishly of personal energy, time, talent and effort.

This year’s recipient of the Greatest Contribution Award in the traditional program is Jordan Bowen.  Bowen graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible. During his time at CBC, he has been very involved not only in the Bible department, but has also served as a student leader in the Housing and Residence Life department, been a part of the CBC Singers and the Choir, and in between everything going on at CBC has remained active in a local church.

The 2014 recipient of the Greatest Contribution Award for the PACE program was given to Jessica Myrick.  Myrick graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology.  She has been employed at CBC since 2006 and for the past two years in the role as Alumni and Communications Officer.  At CBC, she has served as Cheerleading Coach and Staff Association Representative and was named the 2012 Employee of the Year.  She has also been involved in the Lady Life Women’s Ministry at Antioch Baptist Church in Conway and Junior Achievement.
