From the Conway Police Department: "Salem Road between Meadowlake and Old Morrilton Highway is closed due to road conditions. Road conditions across the city are deteriorating. Many are slick and covered in sleet, please use extreme caution if you have to get out."

5:30 p.m. Sunday update:

A mixture of snow and sleet is falling in Conway at this hour. Temperatures are hovering at the freezing mark and roadways are seeing light accumulation in certain areas.

10 a.m. Sunday update:

Faulkner County is under a winter weather advisory in anticipation of tonight's chance of winter weather. The advisory is set to end at 6 a.m. Monday and the county could see 1 to 3 inches of snow in certain areas.

With temperatures dropping into the 30s and lower 40s on Sunday, Faulkner County could yet again see a chance for wintry precipitation Sunday into Monday.

The system would be the third in about a week for the region.

Forecasters say central Arkansas could see 1 to 3 inches of light snow.

As of the 7 p.m. deadline Saturday, a winter storm watch is only in effect for southwest Arkansas, with a combination of snow, sleet and freezing rain possible.

Another round of light snow is possible late Monday, with highs in the 20s and lows in the teens.
