LITTLE ROCK — Forecasters say a thawing Arkansas should brace for another round of snow and sleet.

The National Weather Service in North Little Rock issued a hazardous weather outlook for Tuesday and a winter storm watch for Wednesday.

The outlook covers much of the state and does not project any additional wintry precipitation through Tuesday night.

Many roadways remain icy after 2-3 inches of snow fell Monday on much of central and western Arkansas.

Snow is expected to develop Wednesday morning and continue through the afternoon. Forecasters say up to an inch of snow could fall across much of the state. The area from Arkadelphia to Stuttgart could receive up to four inches.

Gov. Asa Hutchinson announced all state offices in the Little Rock area will open two hours late on Tuesday.
