The Conway Police Department will help celebrate National Night Out Against Crime with a block party from 4:30-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Conway Housing Authority, 425 S. Davis St.

The event is free and open to the public.

"It’s an opportunity to meet officers, talk about safety and have a good time," spokesman LaTresha Woodruff said.

Food will be served while supplies last.

Officers will also be available to attend neighborhood block parties when asked in advance.

"If you plan a party, let us know and we will have an officer drop in," Woodruff said.

To request an officer at a block party, call 501-450-6120.
