Two motorists were taken by ambulances to nearby hospitals following a motorcycle vs vehicle crash in Greenbrier on Sunday.

Authorities were notified of the crash at the intersection of highways 225 and 65 in Greenbrier around 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

The Kawasaki Ninja 650R was traveling southbound on Highway 65 when a 2017 Nissan struck it while turning left onto Highway 225.

The motorcycle was pushed into a Chevrolet Silverado and the driver was ejected from the bike.

"At first I thought he was dead," one man who witnessed the event said of the motorcyclist.

He said the Nissan did not have the right of way when it turned west onto Highway 225 and collided with the Kawasaki Ninja.

An officer on scene said the driver of the Kawasaki Ninja was taken by ambulance to Conway Regional Medical Center Emergency Room, noting the motorcyclist suffered a leg injury following the crash.

The impact caused the air bags in the Nissan to deploy, the officer said.

The officer said the driver of the Nissan also suffered from a leg injury and was taken by ambulance to the Baptist Health Medical Center-Conway Emergency Room.
