Spokesman Adam Bledsoe said the sheriff’s office responded to a shots fired call around 3 a.m. at a residence at 721 Highway 365 in Mayflower.

"The [victim] was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased," he said.

Deputies are actively searching for Rahzel Tennant, 18, and Phalon Tennant, 23, who authorities described as persons of interest in this case.

Rahzel is a black male, who weighs about 150 pounds and is 5 foot and 11 inches tall.

Phalon is a black male, who weighs about 220 pounds and is 6 foot and 1 inches tall.

Bledsoe said the two could be driving a white Buick sedan, "possibl[y] a LeSabre," with rear-end damage.

The suspect vehicle "has bungee cords holding the bumper on the car," he said.

Bledsoe said residents are urged to call the sheriff’s office at 501-358-5906 if they locate the Tennants or the suspect vehicle. Tips can also be submitted anonymously online at under the Crime Tips tab.
