Pfc. Jeffrey Charles DuBose, 23, of Conway, has completed United States Marine Corps Recruit Training in San Diego, Calif., and is now training at the School of Infantry at Camp Pendleton, Calif.

Pfc. DuBose is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tony DuBose of Conway and is a 2008 graduate of Conway High School and a senior at Hendrix College where he will return to complete his degree in economics.

He will be a member of the Marine Corps Forces Reserves pending his acceptance into Officer Candidates School.

Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Kyle J. Stage graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Stage earned distinction as an honor graduate.

He is the son of Michael Stage of Conway, and grandson of Marva Anderson of Highway 87, Mountain View.

The airman is a 2010 graduate of Vilonia High School.
