Harold Lynn Palmer, 70, of Temple, Texas, passed away July 6, 2010, in Irving, Texas. 

Born Feb. 21, 1940, to Kathleen Palmer and the late Wilburn Palmer of Temple, Texas, he was a life-long truck driver for various companies including Virco of Conway, and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his mother mentioned above; three sisters, Glenda (Jimmy) Gabbert of Beeville, Texas, Carolyn (Bill) Webb of Greenbrier and Connie (Melvin) Koenig of Temple, Texas; and two brothers, Wayne Palmer of Summerville, S.C., and Bobby (Jenna) Palmer of Troy, Texas. 

He is also survived by his two sons, Tony (Mary Kay) Palmer of Sheridan and Steven Palmer of Conway; and two daughters, Debbie (Doug) Palmer-Odom of Greenbrier and RaeDean (Chad) Burford of Quitman; and six grandchildren and six great-granddaughters. 

Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home and a graveside service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple, Texas.
