Willie Jane Young "Aunt Bill", 88, of Conway passed away Friday, July 23, 2010. 

She was born Aug. 24, 1921, in Briggsville to Mary Ellen and William Stout. She had three sisters, Myrtle Tollison, Edith Rankin and Helen Magie, and four brothers, Henry, Charlie, Tom, and Clayton Stout, who preceded her in death. 

She loved her family with all her heart, and they did her. At a young age, the family moved to Bigelow, where she graduated high school. She was a great basketball player and after high school, she played professionally with the Red Heads while attending State Teacher’s College in Conway, where she earned her teaching degree. She taught school until she was 74 years old. 

She is survived by her children, Vici Studley and husband Rex of Norman, Okla., Craig Young and wife Peggy of Wooster, Liz Free and husband James of Conway and Larry Young and wife Susie of Greenbrier. She had seven grandchildren whom she said were her life: Charlotte Young, who preceded her in death, Sean Studley, Heather Young, Kristopher Young, Brandi Studley, Crystal Young and Alicia Young. She also had 10 great-grandchildren, Darian, Austin, Alicia, Madison, Mattie, Alison, Cole, Landon, Dillion and Jaya. 

Special thanks to the third-floor nursing staff, CCU staff at Conway Regional Medical Center; Dr. Eric Woodard, Dr. Parker Norris, and a very special thanks to RN Cindy Rasmussen for her compassion and kindness to our Mama. 

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier with the Rev. Garland Morrison officiating.
