Dortha Canady, 90, of Conway, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010.
She was born April 11, 1920, in Bee Branch to the late Lee Parish and Lula (Wilkes) Parish.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Noel Canady.
She was a homemaker who was very devoted to her family and her religious beliefs.
Her life was filled with concern for others.
She is survived by one son, Jim Canady and wife Laura of Richmond, Va.; two daughters, Una Azbill and husband Tommy, Martha Strack and husband Kenny, all of Conway; one brother, Lilbert Parish of Damascus; two sisters, Vanteen Graddy of North Little Rock, Wanda Winfrey of Morrilton; seven grandchildren, Bruce and Beth Strack, Sara Luneau, Amy Azbill, Ben, Adam and Jordan Canady; and one great-grandchild.
The family appreciates the care given to her by Salem Place Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Bee Branch Cemetery with Bro. Bobby Henderson officiating under the direction of Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
Visitation will be tonight from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Christadelphian Bible School.
