Harold Roland Gresham
Harold Roland Gresham, 70, of Conway passed away Monday, Nov. 15, 2010.
He was born on Thursday, July 18, 1940 in Pearson, Ark., to the late Joe and Muirel (Pettus) Gresham.
Mr. Gresham was an excellent husband, father and grandfather. He was a good Christian man with strong beliefs and a kind, gentle heart. He worked with Kroger for 17 years before purchasing his own grocery business in 1973. He continued to own and operate Gresham’s Grocery until his retirement in August 2009. He loved people and always enjoyed the chance to sit and talk with those that came into the store.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lewis Wayne Gresham.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pat (Johnson) Gresham; son, Keith and Starla Gresham; two daughters, Karen and Eddie McDonald, and Kim Gresham; two grandchildren, Austin McDonald and Greg Gresham; and two sisters, Joan and Joe Southerland, and Elaine and Steve Ward.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway, with Dr. Dale Wicker officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Quitman, with Bill Gresham, Carroll Rhoades, Gary Zemp, Paul Ward, Jay Southerland and Bob Martin, serving as pallbearers.
Greg Gresham and Austin McDonald will serve as honorary pallbearers.
