Junior Faye Garrett

Junior Faye Garrett, 81, of Plumerville passed away, Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010. He was born Feb. 25, 1929 in Plumerville, a son of Carl Garrett and Bernice Garrison Garrett. He was an Army veteran who served during the Korean conflict and was a cattle farmer, retired from Pinecrest Lumber and was a member of First Baptist Church in Plumerville.    

Survivors include his wife, Marvelle Green Garrett of Plumerville; son, Johnny Garrett and his wife Missy of Plumerville; daughter, Karen Blocker of Conway; brother, C.L. Garrett of Plumerville; grandsons, Kyle Blocker and Kaleb Blocker both of Conway; Taylor Garrett and Jason Garrett both of Plumerville.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Clyde Garrett, Cecil "Bud" Garrett, and Bill Garrett; sister, Joyce Garrett, and son, James Michael Garrett.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Harris Chapel with Bro. Bill Griffith officiating. Burial will be at Plummerville Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
