Ethel Lois Brazil, 92, of Searcy died Monday, Jan. 24, 2011.  

She was born in Cave City on Sunday, Feb. 24, 1918 to the late Charles H. and Alta Miller Hinson. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Crawford Brazil; a daughter, Peggy McCall; and two sisters, Ruby Hinson and Jewell Jernigan.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Charles Brazil and his wife Donna of Paragould and Jim Brazil and his wife Jane of Conway; five grandchildren, Missy McCall Bingaman and her husband Dale of Midlothian, Va., Sara Haynes and her husband Kenneth of Lexington, Ky., Suzanne Brazil of Durango, Colo., Beverly Cole and her husband Andrew of Conway, and Kimberly Tilley and her husband Brad of Conway; nine great-grandchildren, Kenneth Matthew Haynes, Nathanael Crawford Haynes, Victoria Sara Haynes, Olivia Matilene Haynes, Austin Axley Cole, Madison Brooks Cole, James Cameron Tilley, Allison Elizabeth Tilley and Preston Gabriel Tilley; and other relatives and many friends.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 105 South Spring St., Searcy, Ark., 72143. 

Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Searcy, with funeral services at 1 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church.  

Interment will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville.
