The funeral services will be held at the chapel of the funeral home on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 10:00 am and officiated by Burt Wilkerson and Mickey Burelson. Graveside services and interment will be at Hawthicket Cemetery in Enola. Pallbearers will be Donnie Anthony, Mike Chance, Allen Chance, Travis Chance, Tim Chance and Jason Ingram, with honorary pallbearers, Tom Taylor, Steve Harral, Tyler Harral, Dickie Harris and Max Henry.

Mary Westfall Smith

Mary Westfall Smith, 74, of Cabot died Saturday, April 14, 2012, after her battle with cancer. She was born December 16, 1937 in Dade City, Fla. to the late Woodrow Thomas and Evelyn Odema Burkhead Huffstutler. Mrs. Smith was a secretary and after retirement, she continued to serve as a caregiver for the elderly. She was a member of Cabot Apostolic Church. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by three husbands, William Rock LaFave, Clifford M. Westfall and Marion D. Smith as well as a brother, Victor Huffstutler, a grandson, Anthony LaFave and a nephew Scott McKinzie.

Mrs. Smith is survived by two children, Tom LaFave (Debi) of Austin and Mary Westfall Cain (Thomas) of Azle, Texas; one sister, Barbara McKinzie (Jerry) of Conway; one niece, Jan Lester (Nathan) of Conway and three grandchildren, Ryan LaFave, Andrea LaFave and Morgan Cain.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Monday April 16, 2012, in the chapel of Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Cabot Apostolic Church with Pastors D.C. Moody and Larry Pearce officiating. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery in Conway. Arrangements are by Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home, (501) 843-5816.
