A 17-year-old Conway High School West student added a "V"and "M" to the three Rs on Friday.

A Police Department report on the incident said officer Charles Townsendreported that a student indicated to him that another student had vodka on thecampus.

Townsend and Assistant Principal Melinda Wright found thestudent and took him to Townsend’s office, where, according to the report, theteen admitted to having the alcohol and marijuana.

The report indicated that the youth said he purchased thecontraband on campus.

Authorities transported the youth to the Faulkner CountyJuvenile Detention Center. They also destroyed the alcohol and sent thesuspected marijuana to the state crime lab for positive identification.
