SILOAM SPRINGS — Conway's Lady Wampus Cats improved to a 10-2 Saturday night with a 75-56 victory over host Siloam Springs to claim the girls championship of the Siloam Springs Invitational Tournament.

Kianna Speight led the Lady Cats with 20 points, Jordan Danberry followed with 17 points,  Asia Willard had 11, and Enjonae Chambers and Christin Rogers had 10 each.

"I was pleased with the effort of our team as a whole," said Conway coach Ashley Nance.  "With such a young team we are finally seeing things coming together. Kianna was very consistent tonight and seemed to have her hand in every play. Hopefully we can build off of these three wins going into a tough conference schedule."

The Lady Cats travel to Russellville on Friday for their conference opener.
