The Sonshine Academy Cheer Force Falcons have earned a trip to Orlando, Fla.

Last month in New Orleans at the Worldwide Spirit Association All Star Cheerleading Grand Nationals, the Falcons placed third in the Small Senior Coed Level 5 Division.

That score earned them a bid to The Cheerleading Worlds Competition, April 25–30, in Orlando.

They will be competing with squads from all over the country and several foreign countries.

The Force is the first All Star Cheerleading squad from Conway to earn a bid to the prestigious competition and marks only the third time in the history of the event for a squad from Arkansas to earn a bid.

In addition to several hours of practice each week, members of the Falcons squad also volunteer to work with another Cheer Force squad.

The Starlings are a Special Needs Cheerleading Squad established through Community Connections. When the Starlings perform, assisted by the Falcons, it is usually a crowd favorite.

The Falcons are now trying to raise $20,000 that will pay for their travel and housing to attend in Orlando. Several fundraisers are planned and sponsors are being sought to help them with those costs.
