C.J. Geisler, Jr., 18 of Conway, rolled the first perfect game in the 47-year history of the Arkansas State Youth Championships.
The tournament was held at Central Lanes in Hot Springs.
This year’s tournament is Geisler, who began bowling at age 3 at Conway Family Bowl, has bowled for 15 years. He beat both his previous high game (289) and series (770) with games of 262-300-213 for a 775. Geisler, who averages 177 in the Conway youth league, used a Total NV to roll the 300.
CJ will receive a ring from the United States Bowling Congress for his accomplishment.
A few tee times remain for the 16th Conway Regional Golf Classic on Monday, June 11, at Centennial Valley Country Club.
There will be morning and afternoon rounds for the four-person scramble.
Prizes will awarded to the top three teams per flight.
