Thirteen members of the Sonshine Academy boys gymnastics team either won or placed in the top three in individual events or the all-around in their level and age group at the Champions Invitational at Paragould.

In Level 4 competition, John Sutton placed third on the floor; and 2nd on the vault, rings, high bar, and pommel horse; and tied for first in the all-around with Josh Barbee.

Colton Ray placed third on the rings and on high bar, and second on the parallel bars. Michael Frost placed third in the all-around, second on the floor, and first on the parallel bars and high bar. Jesse Easley placed third on the parallel bars. Josh Barbee placed third on the vault and pommel horse, and 1st on the floor and rings, and tied for first in the all-around. The Level 4 boys were second in the team competition.

Sonshine won the team competition in Level 5.

Blake Hopkins placed third on the vault and parallel bars, and second on the pommel horse, high bar, and in the all-around. Andrew Hare won the vault. Jay Krisle placed third on the parallel bars and high bar, second on the vault and in the all-around, and first on the pommel horse and rings. Haden Ray placed third on the pommel horse, vault, and in the all-around, second on the floor and high bar; and 1st on the parallel bars.

Josh Farewell was the only Level 6 gymnast from Sonshine and placed third on the high bar, second on the rings, vault, and parallel bars, and first on the pommel horse.

Jake Fisher and Michael Rickles were the only level 8 gymnasts representing Sonshine. Jake Fisher placed second on the floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars, and in the all-around, and 1st on the high bar. Michael Rickles placed second on the high bar and first on the floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars, and in the all-around.
