LITTLE ROCK — Conway White defeated eStem in two junior high boys basketball games Monday nght.

The Wampus Kittens (7-6) won the ninth-grade game 47-31. Prentice Mullins led Conway with 18 points. Collin Cahill added nine.

In the eighth-grade game, the Kittens (9-0) defeated the Mets, 44-40. Marquis Pleasant led with 17 points. Nathan Maull added eight.


Vilonia defeated Greenbrier twice Monday in seventh-grade boys basketball.

In the A game, the Eagles won 30-22. Jeremy Kendall led the Eagles with 10 points. Caleb Johnson, who had nine, was 70 percent from the free-throw line, including four of four in the fourth quarter. Ethan Janski had five points, Tyson Wertz, three, Noash Heston, two, and Hunter Neely, one. Other strong efforts, according to coach Will Black, were from Brody Johnson, Cody Simpson, Triston Milligan, Trey McNespey, and Trenton Hetherington.

The Eagles won the B game, 24-8. Matthew Mallott led with eight points. Garrett Thomas, Logan Wilson, and Logan Lamp finished with four points, followed by Noah Heston with three points and Kent Luck with one point. Jace Farrior, Cameron Mitchell, Ben Duff, Clayton Riddle, TJ Atkinson, Jacob Herburger, and Johnson all had outstanding games.


The Vilonia Lady Eagles outlasted the Greenbrier Lady Panthers in two of games on Monday night. 

The A team defeated the Lady Panthers, 23-16.

Anna Kaye Kirk was the leading scorer for Vilonia with eight points. Callie

Eary, Grace Vanlandingham, and Alyssa Netherlain scored four points each. Kaitlyn

Weaver scored two points and Kenna Beaty scored one point. Tori Wilbanks had five rebounds.

In the B game, Vilonia won, 17-8. Hannah Millsap led Vilonia with six points. Brynn Schuetter, Kylee Linton, Talyn Lawrence, Karli Thompson, and

Beth Franks scored two points each. Marlee Hinsley added one point.  Ashlee Andrews had six rebounds.
