With their homecoming game looming, the Central Baptist College men (13-5, 10-4 AMC) stretched their winning steak to seven Thursday with a 94-67 victory over St. Louis College of Pharmay (0-20, 0-16),.

Ashford Golden scpred 14 of his 23 points the first half. Victor Dukes added 19. Pennel Washington had 12.

The Mustangs play Missouri Baptist at 3 p.m. Saturday in their homecoming game.

“We are basically in a three-way tie for second place and Missouri Baptist is one of the teams we are tied with," said coach Chris Wright. " They took it to us at their place (a 94-71 loss for CBC), but we will be ready to go this time."

CBC (10-11, 6-10) won the women's game, 79-56.

Karlie Senko led four Mustangs in double figures with 15 points.  Kory Westerman had 10 rebounds.

CBC has won three in a row and will play Missouri Baptist at 1 p.m. Saturday.

St. Joseph

St. Joseph's boys defeated Woodlawn, 62-55.

Triple Williams had 18 points and six rebounds. Ryan Davis added 16 points and five rebounds. Spencer Pope added 14 points. Caleb Hiegel had eight points, five assists and three steals..

The Bulldogs won the junior boys game, 45-18. Christian SKinner led with 12 points. Luke Bruich added eight.
