Central Baptist College used a 17-0 run in the first half Tuesday on the way to a 102-54 romp over Ecclesia College in a non-conference men's game.

The Mustangs (15-5) led the Royals (1-15) 68-14 at the half.

“I thought we played a great first half tonight,” said head coach Chris Wright. “I was very impressed with our focus and unselfishness tonight."

Five Mustangs scored in double figures, led by Ashford Golden with 18. Victor Duke added 15, Sammie Elem, 14, Da'Jon Streeter, 13 and TeShawn Sims, 12.

CBC returns to American Midwest Conference play on Thursday against Williams Baptist at Walnut Ridge.

Mayflower girls

Mayflower's girls surged to a 42-14 victory over Lisa Academy on Tuesday.

Leading scorers for the Lady Eagles were AngelGrace Duncan with 26 points and Alexis Letson with 16 points.

CCS-Guy

Conway Christian's Lady Eagles defeated Guy-Perkins on Tuesday, 68-56. 

 Stormy Stacks scored 38 points and Lauren Kinley added 21.

The Thunderbirds won the boys game, 83-55.
