Conway High's Mia Graff is among seven new recruits for the University of Central Arkansas women's soccer team.
Graff was an all-conference selection in 2015 and 2017 and is a member of the Mighty Bluebirds soccer club, a three-time state champion. The treasurer of the National Honor Society, she will graduate from Conway High in the top 2 percent of her class.
The group, which features players from Arkansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Texas, is composed of two keepers, two defenders, a midfielder, and a pair of midfielders/forwards. They will look to help the Bears replace 16 goals and 16 assists over 94 starts and 7,654 minutes played last season, in addition to 770 minutes and 34 saves in goal.
“We are excited about the fact that we have been able to address the needs we have from a position standpoint." said coach Jeremy Bishop. "We graduated a big group from last season, including players that have played a ton of minutes for us over their careers. So, we needed players all over the field that could come in and compete right away.”
