St. Joseph allowed six unearned runs Tuesday but prevailed, 10-7, at home against Quitman.
Christian Skinner was 3 for 4 for the Bulldogs. Ryan Davis had two hits.
Davis struck out seven in picking up the win.
"We'll take any conference win, but we have to get a lot better.," said coach Luke Davis. "Six unearned runs will get you beat most nights."
Hendrix's track teams posted some top performances last weekend at the Dan Veach Invitational hosted by Southern Arkansas University at Magnolia.
Jackie Greenwell posted a top Warriors' finish placing first in the triple jump with a mark of 10.12 meters. Leah Boehl also led Hendrix's women with a first-place showing in the Javelin (36.70m).
Katie Welch finished second in the pole vault with a mark of 2.90m.
Nathan Andress added a second-place finish in the 5000-meters (16:11.25).
Marshall Nichol finish second in the pole vault with a mark of 3.05m.
At Mount Berry, Ga., Berry College swept matches with Hendrix's tennis teams.
The Hendrix College women's tennis team traveled to take on the Vikings of Berry College. The Vikings defeated the Warriors 8-1.
Berry won the women's match, 8-1.
Junior Sarah Glass would get the only HC victory of the day, defeating Berry 7-6 (8-6), 1-0 ret. in the number five singles slot.
The Vikings prevailed in the womem's match, 9-1.
