The Arkansas Sportscasters/Sportswriters Hall of Fame has announced the 12th class into the ASCSW Hall of Fame with induction ceremonies slated for 6 p.m. July 7 at the Centennial Special Events Center at the Centennial Country Club in Conway.

The keynote speaker will be Sidney Moncrief, former Arkansas Razorback and Milwaukee Bucks basketball player.

Sportscaster Dave Woodman of Little Rock, former play-by-play voice of the Arkansas Razorbacks will be presented to the Hall of Fame by Tom Bonner of Little Rock.

Sportswriter Nate Allen of Fayetteville, who covers the Razorbacks, will be presented to the Hall of Fame by Donna Lampkin-Stephens of Conway.

Former Hendrix College coach and athletic director Cliff Garrison will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award and will be presented by Larry Graddy of Conway.

Receiving other awards will be Arvil Burks, who will receive the Arkansas Sports Club Member of the Year.

Three service awards will be presented to the Bill Pate family, the Jimmy Rodgers family and the David McCollum family.

The ASCSW Hall of Fame will honor three past inductees who passed away this year - Frank Broyles, Jimmy Rodgers and David McCollum.

The 12th annual Arkansas Sportscasters/Sportswriters Hall of Fame Induction Banquet, scheduled for July 7 will start with a meet and greet at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Hall of Fame dinner at 6 p.m. and the induction ceremony at 6:45 p.m.
