The Hendrix College volleyball ended the regular season with a four-set victory over Bacone College at Grove Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon. The Warriors (15-18) topped the Lady Warriors (8-19) 25-23, 17-25, 25-19, 25-15.

After splitting the first two sets, Hendrix went on to hit .361 in each of the final two frames. For the match Hendrix outhit Bacone .259 to .243 and had a 53-48 kills advantage.

Junior outside hitter Melissa Clement paced the Warriors with 16 kills. Freshman middle blocker Carson Hunter tied her season-best with nine kills and junior right side Katie Bates also had nine. Sophomores Alyssa Jaksich and Jordyn Spennato chipped in eight kills each. Sophomore setter Zoe Calhoun recorded 40 assists. Freshman libero Ella Concavage-Nasar led all players with 20 digs, while Spennato had a season-high 19 and senior Jennifer Youngblood came up with 11.

Bacone was led by Jade Tigilau with 14 kills and 17 digs.

The Warriors will travel to Jackson, Miss., to face Dallas at the Southern College Athletic Conference Tournament on Friday.
