Hendrix College senior men’s soccer player Duncan Keegan was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America Capital One Academic All-America First Team on Tuesday. Keegan was just the fourth student-athlete from Hendrix to earn Academic All-America honors.

The forward from Signal Mountain, Tenn., led the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference with 37 points and was second with 14 goals and nine assists. Keegan also ranked in the top 40 nationally in points, points per game, goals, goals per game, assists and assists per game. He finished his career at the Warriors’ all-time leader in points (93), goals (36) and assists (21). Keegan also was an All-SCAC First Team member this season.

Keegan maintained a perfect 4.0 grade point average while majoring in Biology. He is the only member of the Divsion III men’s soccer Academic All-America First Team to have a 4.0 GPA.
