Central Arkansas continued its dominance in its long-standing series with Southern Arkansas on Tuesday, rolling to a 78-45 victory in the Farris Center.
It was the Sugar Bears' 13th straight win over the Lady Muleriders and improve their record in the series to 51-14.
The Sugar Bears (5-3) ran out to a 44-23 halftime lead, extended the margin to 30 midway through the second half and cruised to the 33-point win in their 22nd consecutive regular season home victory.
Courtney Duever had a career-high 23 points to lead all players, and added 10 rebounds for her second double-double of the season. Over her last three games, Duever is averaging 15 points and 10.3 rebounds.
Desiree' Rogers had her first double-double of the season, scoring a season-high 20 and grabbing 14 rebounds, one off her career high, in one of her most productive outings as a Sugar Bear. Chantel Moss added a career-high 11 points to go with seven rebounds, and Tracey Parsons added 10 points.
The Sugar Bears forced the Lady Muleriders (0-8) into 18 turnovers while committing just eight, and owned a 52-30 advantage on the boards. UCA registered 20 assists on its 28 field goals, with freshman guard Jameka Watkins getting a season-best six and Parsons adding five. Watkins and Moss each had three steals for the Sugar Bears.
The Sugar Bears are on the road for their next two games, going to ULM on Thursday for a 7 p.m. start followed by a noon meeting at Southern Miss on Saturday.
