The University of Central Arkansas Bears completed a steamroller job in the UCA Invitational softball tournament Sunday with a 6-0 win over Ball State.

The Bears (11-5) were 6-0 in the tournament, outscoring their opponents, 67-9 with two shutouts and one no-hitter.

Kelsie Armstrong (7-4), who scattered seven hits, dominated the Ball State hitters Sunday in striking out 12.

Sam Forrest went 4 for 4 with three doubles. Ashley Boswell was 2 for 4 with a home run.

Boswell and Tiffany Roby also had doubles. Melissa Bryant added a triple.
